Robot love

Today I came across the best little gem in the world! I was looking for advertising campaigns to blog on for my internship and came across this Spike Jonze/Absoult Vodka collaboration.
'I'm here' is the new short film written and directed by Spike Jonze. This movie is amazing - 100 times better than Where the wild things are. I never really get into short films, it's a huge task to establish an interesting plot in the space of 30 minuets but this film actually brought a tear to my eye... however I am a bit of a movie sook!

The film follows the lives of two robots in love living in L.A. The robots try to break free from the mundane life of rebooting and electrical malfunctions, to have the life we all want - dancing to loud bands, driving fast cars and falling in love. It sounds kind of stupid but the whole concept and execution is so creative you forget it's about robots within the first 20 seconds. I can see alot of people wearing computer towers to parties in the near future.

Only 12 000 people a day can view it but I found it pretty easy to access. The soundtrack to this movie is by L.A singer Aska Matsumiya, She has an amazing voice and her single 'There are many of us' is definitely on the road to success, I have her on repeat. Overall a pretty great day in the life of lauren :)

Little Monsters

I saw GAGA almost a week ago and wow this girl is AMAZING! With 5 set changes, an army of leather cladding provocative dancers and a date at the monster ball, Lady Gaga put on a show like no other.

The second best thing at lady gaga were the costumes that people wore... my gosh from cigarette glasses to 60 year old women in hot red g-strings, everybody went all out - except for me and my friends... I really wish we got more into, but no time/moola.

Here are some pics I managed to take whilst been squished between a sweaty old man, and a kid that grew far to tall for his age. Ohh how great would it be for all of us shorties if concerts were arranged by height!

Kylie, Kobi, the Gaga geriatric, Myself and Prindi. I'm trying to get myself as far away from her 60 year old STI infested rear

THIS is why... I feel really sorry her who ever her Grandchildren are

I am so surprised her hair didn't engulf

Pete Doherty Needs More Crack...

The British bad boy who shares his drug habit with his cat, even making a special pipe just for his furry friend, needs more money to pay 'bills'.

Cue in Libertines come back show!!

The Libertines will be performing in August at a festival in Leeds and will be paid a $1.5 Million dollar pay check.

Hopefully this money will be snorted up in no time and he will have no choice but to come to Australia to see me, I'm sure my kitty Winston will love him.

In the beginning...

For the past few months I have been in a huge debate with myself... to blog, or not to blog? I'm the type of girl that will almost always try anything once and well as you can see - my inner blogger won.

So I would like to welcome you all to the wonderful Land of Lauren!

Enjoy xo
